That probably won't be decided for a long, long time. Who knows? Maybe we will have a chapter in each. In City of Heroes/City of Villains, you can have both a Hero and a Villain on the same shard, and you can share a chat channel with both villains and heros. Essentially, you can have one guild with two sides. I don't think that WO will be that way but its nice to dream.
Maybe we will even pick one side and have three different "Divisions" of WGW, such as the Iron Brigade (Humans), the Forest Lords (High Elves) and the Longbeards (Dwarves).
We won't really know how the guild system will work for quite some time. When we figure it out, we will tailor our effort around it the game's systems as we have always done. The Council will certainly want to hear from the players on what they prefer. The better our system, the more people we will have sticking around.
Unfortunately, also "as always," I fear that some will be disappointed with whatever choice is made.

That would be sweet if we could make a character on both factions!
i figured that since the game is being made by Mythic, we probably wouldn't be able to do that.

Well,if i had to choose i would definitely go "underdog faction".Personally im a Chaos fan,heh i even have got Liber chaotica in a case you guys prefer RP servers.May be we should add. smth. like "Depends on population" to poll.Nothing better than some fame and respect from underpopulated faction . just my few rubles.

I always choose the Chaos side when i used to play Warhammer 40K so i'd be inclined to continue that when Warhammer Online comes out. THough i'm sure i'll try both sides eventually.

due to money issues.. im playing freebies for now..
but since AC, I've been just about everywhere as you guys.. only on differernt servers
EQ (Rallos and Sullon Zek before the total Zek server merge) EQ2 (Venekor I think it was), WoW (Archimonde, Dethecus and Stormrage I think), Shadowbane, DAoC, Eve Online, Planetside, Guild Wars (havent picked up Factions yet though)..
I still have my original ICQ number for those that might still have it (as its kinda fiun having a low 7 digit icq # when everyone else is into the high 8 figures by now)
I've dabbled a bit in banner sig creation when i had a trial copy of photoshopCS2, my sig here I made with a semi souped up verion of mspaint

sounds like a plan... I've been debating reactivating one of my accounts while I wait for warhammer.. havent decided which though.. think I remember WoW well enough to blast my way through the first 20-30'ish levels (as un undead 'lock at least).. after that, im in uncharted waters
I'm uber rusty in DAoC as i havent played that in at least a few years..
if anyone has any thoughts of what game for me to resub..im open to suggestions
I'm not one to ask for help powerleveling, but if anyone volunteers if/when i resub.. i'd be happy for any assistance

I agree with the Dark Chaos side. Most of the people in WOW are use to playing Alliance, and even if they did play Horde it was limited since WGW is on alliance side. I think it be new and cool to be the mean bad guys instead of the nice side for a change.

Id like to go to the underdog side. Which wil be impossible to determine at release. And for the fact that camp spots are gonna really suck when its released I imagine since we got all the warhammer fanbois waiting plus all the DAOC lovers and so called 'Mythic haters" which will never play a mythic game again lol.

Without a doubt I'm going Destruction. O&G is the most diverse army in the tabletop game and have the most flavor. Chaos should be the damage/armor kings and DE have ridiculously cool mounts/magic/gear/magic. (I'm sure it'll all balance out, but I'm not playing dorf slayer or riding a horse... really the only thing that appeals to me on the Order side is the idea of a HE mage or... if it can happen, a WE eagle rider)
I saw a little of this about a year ago at GenCon... looked nice... they had orcs and gobbos fighting each other at some pig camp.
Gobbo Shaman & Black Orc for me for sure.

Unlike WoW where the horde can pretend to be "good" but misunderstood. This one is clear cut.... Chaos=Evil, Dark Elves=Evil, Orcs=Evil.
I finished the Malus Darkblade series (dark elves) last month. I have never read a darker more twisted series than that. Hell you can't even call Malus the Hero of the story, he is so evil that other evil characters call him Evil. I mean, raids into human towns to collect prisoners so their flesh can be striped off for saddle leather? A description of why Dwarf flesh makes the best gloves? Evil.... all evil.
